This post is long overdue! Late Spring/ Early summer, I had this idea to DIY some fringe hem jeans after seeing them being retailed for $70 at TOPSHOP. Crazy, I know. Just like all of my other DIY projects, I felt that I can do this myself for 80% less, and I did!
I took a trip to the L Train Vintage and found a pair of Levis Jeans for $8. Using scissors, a ruler, chalk and a seam ripper, I was able to achieve the look that I wanted.
I had every intention on showing you all how to do it yourself with a YouTube tutorial to accompany this post but due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to complete the video properly.
However, here is the finished product and how I styled it. I plan on wearing these jeans quite a bit throughout the Fall season. Like any other distressed denim, these will get better with time. The fringes will fray more and more with every wash and I'm excited about that. I really like the way that these came out and hope you do too.
Share your thoughts, what do you think? I want to know!
